\u201cThis will inevitably lead to countless more civilians killed and the further destruction of Gaza<\/strong>,\u201d said UN Deputy Spokesperson Farhan Haq, responding to a journalist\u2019s question during the regular media briefing in New York.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat’s imperative now is an end to the violence, not more civilian deaths and destruction.\u00a0Gaza is, and must remain, an integral part of a future Palestinian State<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n

The alert comes as the UN humanitarian team and other NGOs in the\u202fOccupied Palestinian Territory on Sunday\u00a0condemned Israeli efforts to replace the aid delivery system<\/a>\u00a0with one where supplies would reportedly be funnelled through military hubs in the south.<\/p>\n

This proposal would leave \u201clarge parts of Gaza\u2026less mobile and (the) most vulnerable\u201d without lifesaving supplies, aid chiefs insisted.<\/p>\n
